For the third time in 20 years, Winthrop returns to Blue Lake Camp for workcamp! Nestled in the Modoc National Forrest in Northeast California, Blue Lake Camp is a UCC summer camp built by the local churches in Alturas and Cedarville. Our host will again be Rev. Ben Zanstra. Our work will include readying the camp for summer, repairs to cabins and finishing work on two new bathroom buildings. We are excited to help install a deck that will make the bathrooms handicap accessible. Meanwhile, we will enjoy the beauty of the lake, the hospitality of the people from Ben's churches and God's renewing spirit that always surrounds us while we are away on workcamp. We leave Saturday, June 19 and return on Sunday June 27. Please pray for us!
